Promoting Value Education through Reading across Curriculum

Overview

Reading across curriculum projects are implemented in this school. Novels and picture books are used in various subjects to enhance students' reading literacy and embed students with the knowledge on the given theme. After acquiring knowledge, students build affections towards the theme and put it in actions by engaging in service learning activities.　Students employ different reading strategies and understand the given theme through reading. Students also connect with the theme and build up positive values and attitudes from the reading and service learning activities.
