Overview
This open lesson is a cross-disciplinary class (including Chinese, Music, and Visual Arts) that aims to cultivate children's morals, positive values, and higher-order thinking skills through reading picture books. By appreciating music and creating art pieces, the class aims to unleash the children's creativity and help them understand that different colours represent different emotions, enabling them to embrace a range of emotions and learn to relax their minds. Through participating in a series of activities, the participants are able to express different emotions by creating artwork.
Participants of this open lesson will:
1. understand that an interdisciplinary curriculum can greatly stimulate students' learning motivation.
2. inspire the participants to flexibly tailor the curriculum according to the students' needs.
3. incorporate positive values into the curriculum.
